Still can’t believe they booked him at 400 person 40 watt in Athens. Even in September it seemed insane considering the venues he was selling out elsewhere like Brooklyn steel

If you are sticking around east Austin I find the tacos to be more enticing than bbq most of the time. Cuantos, discada, and nixta are the favorites and all close enough to each other to hit multiple. Nickel city will win the dive bar popular vote, they even have Genny cream ale on draft.
