Two years ago I started with 14 tubers of cannas. Last year I had 48 tubers. Well this year is a bumper crop of over 300 tubers. I gotta jungle going here. Next year I have to start planning now where to plant them all.

We now have 379 days till the midterms determine if America fades in the mist of authoritarian rule of this regime. Or. If the people are actually allowed to vote without obstruction and denial. One chance that’s what we have. I hope that the vote happens.

Went to the grocery store today and just one item blew my mind completely. My bill has been going up weekly but this item was ridiculous and I have to share. Last year it was $3.85 for a 16 oz jar. Today that same damn jar is $9.99. I don’t even know how this happens.

Today the birds that visit my garden are very active. There can be up to one hundred feeding in the garden. Goldfinches, Cardinals, Junko, various Woodpeckers, Sparrows, Starlings, Ravens and Redwing Blackbirds.

We have hundreds of honey bees visiting the garden today. I am always happy to see them cause they are so endangered anymore.
