I was in a mech unit and I LOVED being the Javelin dude as a Private. I felt like one of the most important dudes with one of the hardest jobs in the platoon.

they were the ferry system around the Sound before most of the bridges were built and the modern incarnation of the WSF came aorund. Technically they went back to the mid-1800s but in general they were a collection of private boat companies using steamers. The Black Ball line in 1930s-40s too.

They did for awhile but then maybe 18 months ago they went to two step with PW change every 90 days but then just recently changed PW reqs. Every time I reset password I spend thr next week having to sign in 30 times until it finally takes. Only on my laptop though.

100 years of hard work to get here if you count the old Mosquito fleet. One of my absolute favorite things to do is ride one of the boats.
