Mostly Luke Wilson who gets to play the same role multiple ways based on Mulder and Skully's memories. But a definite bonus featuring The Great Hambino in that episode too.

How's the writing of my #KingdomOfDysphoria novel going?

Nicely.

I'm Jenny, I'm an artist and I've been working on a story called Kingdom of Dysphoria. It's am isekai about trans people in a fantasy world fighting back against a false queen and trying to save fae.

I also draw furries and occasional fan art.

Current sketch of Prince Milo's outfit at the end of the story. He would have been queen, but thanks to a fae tincture was able to transition (much to the chagrin of the regent, who replaced him with a literal drag queen, and threw him in the dungeon).

Put together a little image with the party members' revised looks I've drawn recently.

This is still one of my favorite drawings of Alex though.

These character designs have been through a lot over the last five years...

Finished coloring that drawing of Alex! The fae grant them this armor themed around the noble "Rabbelk" (jackalope), the former sigil of Phoria, toward the end of the story. #transartist #kingdomofdysphoria

And then suddenly they went back to the classic green orb with red within. I'm really curious about what all this meant to the creators. The green orbs with fire in them, the use of that aesthetic for Magicite, and what the logic was with the symbols in the orbs of 6 and 7. 4/4

FFVII kept the orbs with symbols within, but the red Summon materia could be viewed similarly as the red core of the Magicite, perhaps. 3/4

But then in FF6, they changed to orbs with symbols in them. However, that game featured Magicite, a green crystal with a red core that contained the essence of the summon. 2/4

Thinking about Final Fantasy summoning. Not the entities themselves. I mean the visual of the act of summoning. For a while they showed a green orb with red fire inside, swirling out from the caster. 1/4

Ranma didn't crack my egg, but it did mean a lot to me as a kid. So did Lancer from Robotech.

I never knew about this! Closest I had growing up from this era was Lancer/Yellow Dancer / Yellow Belmont from Robotech (or rather, Genesis Climber Mospeada in Japan).

I never heard of #randomgamesaturday before but here's that cool Super Famicom sidescroller spinoff from the Front Mission series: Front Mission Gun Hazard. Check out the great art!
