Cellphones, an unregulated amygdala-targeted attention industry, and students sharing videos of peers without consent would have thrown the schools I attended into chaos.

Hey, grown-ups! Don't tell kids that reading is a worthwhile and pleasurable activity - show them! Let them catch you reading a book and sighing, or laughing, or emitting little squeaks of fear, or going back and rereading a bit out loud to yourself. Be a model reader!
