Anyone else recall the great sprinkle shortage in the 1970s? My godmother served Cadbury’s flake rolled in very thin (crustless) bread and butter as an emergency alternative at Easter Sunday Tea. It was tough but we survived.

That looks lush! Laid up (and down) with knee damage here so food choices are limited.

I think it was some kind of tyre jinx day yesterday - spectacular flat here which lead to unscheduled garage appointment! But as long as we’re all ok then we should shrug and move on?

These are the best! Served them at several drinks parties which needed to be cut down to size. 😉

Once had a small fire at a school where I worked and the nursery children (3-4) were utterly terrified. One of the crew spent time apologising that Fireman Sam (v famous tv show here in autumn land) was busy but they could visit the truck. Joy instantly restored.
