Tire pressure often, note need to adjust and use as guide. Brake light, easy enough to do daily. Oil level frequently and chain especially after riding in rain.

You can go with a bag on one side or a rack behind the seat with or without a top case. Rack option is more aesthetic in my opinion, but might make getting on or off a little tougher with a case. Secret to sharper turns is feathering the clutch, I practice in parking lots. lots of videos on this.👍

Riding to work helps make going much more bearable. Only problem is constant temptation just to pass by and not go in.

Brand new? Wiring connection? All the electronics now are great until they aren't. Best of luck for a quick fix.
