Most, probably 95-99%, are used to advance our understanding of the universe. Blanket statements like this can radicalize folks who don’t know the difference and cause irreparable harm to infrastructure and data (think natural, social, and formal science data) that we have fought long and hard for.

As a supercomputing expert and someone that supports scientific research (and someone that has, in the past, built and supported supercomputers for NOAA) I think we need to be VERY careful telling people to “destroy data centers!” Not all data centers and supercomputers are being used for evil.

I rewatch Spaceballs at least 12 times a year and it never ceases to have me rolling. I intro’d my sons to it when they were about 3 and even tho they are nearly grown, they still rewatch it with me at every opp. I’ve been waiting for this movie since 1987! Thank you, Mel! You are a legend! ❤️
