I’m no “no build step js” purist but today I decided to try crxjs for a chrome extension I’ve been idling on and what a productivity sink.

I'm reaching some corners in in the gh cli, where `gh secret set` does not create secrets in your repo if it's a fork (creates them in upstream).

Real fun that

The biggest threat to my sleep is not having had a productive day

Which often comes from having had a bad night’s sleep the night before… and so and so

One big problem with induction stoves is that you'll be trying to heat up some soup or whatever but it will keep drawing general principles from specific instances

I think starter packs might end up lowering engagement in the long run. I followed a few just to populate my feed with general interests but the magic of tw… Bluesky is following the folks whose unique voice you really enjoy.

Been inspired to finally take prompting a bit more seriously and am now trying to make Claude teach me algorithms in the style of The Little Schemer. Not quite there, but getting fun.

I *love* instagram unskippable ad breaks. They are the perfect "well I didn't want to be here anyway" reminder.

What a lovely article on queueing. Nicely designed and clearly explained.

Suspending mercilessly is what finally got me back to Anki after a multi year break.

It’s totally fine if you don’t really care about that book on operating systems you were so enthusiastically memorizing.

Also, cards are still there if you change your mind again later on.
Also: taking a break actually gives you an opportunity. You have fresh perspective on your deck. Probably now it's easier to sense that you don't care about a bunch of those cards. So, give yourself the freedom—or, better, encouragement!—to suspend any cards that stimulate a disinterested response.
