I am so thankful to everyone who helped me when I’ve been most anxious, been forward and encouraging, and made me feel comfortable in the community. I am incredibly fortunate. It took some bravery to get here but every step was worth it.

We didn’t, until the next day, where I went to a bar night. But something else happened that night. I had a chance encounter that kicked off a series of events leading me to meeting my puppy, and partner. We had an enchanting summer romance that grew into something unimaginable and wonderful.

I attended my first pup event, and sat alone most of the evening. I worked up the courage to go because I knew one of my bsky mutuals had gone the previous month and that emboldened me to step out for the chance to meet in person.

Then, I embraced my inner puppy, and started stepping more into who I was, and bringing my private kink life out in public. I went to a bondage exhibition (that I learned about on Bluesky) and was nervous as hell, worried I’d always be anxious at those events.

I’ve had a profound year personally, starting when I made this account to after abandoning twitter. I’d always been a lurker but a switch flipped in my brain and I began sharing my kinky life, previously enjoyed solo. I had a goal to make kink connections (and admittedly to grow my account)
