Pitch only one book, not the series. And choose one genre, the one that represents what bookshelf it would be on in the bookstore. It can't be one multiple shelves, so where would readers find it? That's what genre you pitch it in.

Metadata includes: age category, genre, word count, and target audience (if applicable). This is the basic data that lets agents know if they even rep the project you're querying to them. Without this info, we may be wasting our time reading the sample, so it's better to just pass than risk it.

You can withdraw and requery. The only time there's a down side to that is when I've already started reading your manuscript, but I think QT might show if I've opened it or not? Sorry, I can't say for sure if I've seen yours yet. There are very few I'm in the middle of reading, so chances are good.
