I love my union. Breakfast chat with a racially diverse and gender diverse table. We talked about electoral politics. We learned a lot from one another as we spoke about our different life experiences and took those experiences as truth. Much love and respect to my Union siblings ✨

I am always struck by the belief that any human’s rights can be determined by whether other people agree they should have them or not — especially in a nation that believes its exceptionalism derived from its codifying of innate rights.

Is there a better feeling than driving 80mph on the 110 on your way to an #AFSCME convention at 7:30am on a Saturday? Probably, but this is good ✊🏻
