I just got back from mine and I was moved to tears by the 250 people who came out in my little suburban MA town (right next to the home of your beloved chop suey sandwich)! So many honks of support; it felt great to be around so many like-minded people!

I will never understand these people who profess to be followers of Christ, yet cheerlead the most un-Christlike behavior I have ever witnessed. This hypocrisy is exactly why I left the Catholic church. Their brand of Christianity is nothing like that of the Jesus I know.

I have friends who voted for both Biden & Harris but are pretty politically disengaged. They believed that the Black Lives Matter protests were full of mass violence & chaos - even though the vast majority were peaceful - bc all they saw on social media were images like this.

And just like every horrible person who voted for him, she doesn’t regret it. This is why I am sick & tired of being told to come together with these people. I wouldn’t be friends with Nazi sympathizers in the 1930s & I won’t be friends with them now.

This is why I feel frustrated: this is on her FB. The audacity of her to decry that we’ve lost our humanity when WE voted for human decency & compassion, but SHE voted for hatred & cruelty. She had no basic empathy for the “other” immigrants when she cast her vote. I voted to protect her husband!
