I'd like to see some federal legislation passed that blocks Google and Microsoft from using our data secretly. I suspect Windows is using our data, even with CoPilot disabled. :)

To me, cars slow down when faced with narrow streets, concrete barriers, and other cars being in the way.

Suggestions a) Build a wide sidewalk on the west side of Parkside Dr. b) Eliminate the passing lanes from the road. c) Move the pedestrian crossing "beg buttons" several metres back from the street. d) Add bollards to protect the corner and the bus stop.

Note that: if these cyclists were in cars, the traffic jam would be epic. The ONLY cause of traffic, is cars.

Agreed. That said, I think building underground parking + condos + shopping in that area work. I wish the CNE grounds were a neighborhood.

North American quality of life compared to Europe and Asia will continue to decline over the next 20 years. Many contributing factors will be debated but the culprit is car-dependent sprawl. It makes everything expensive.

The dedication suburban commuters have to expensive, time consuming and dangerous city planning, is quite depressing.
