But holmes did not waste time websurfing for fun, and he sure as hell did not have his own website (which was just for losers).

He used Apple products before everyone starting doing it.

The man was all over this shit in the 90s!

Remember Shift, the lesser Canadian WIRED? He co-founded it!

Here he is representing the profound responsibility mankind has to steward technology ethically.

What does new A.I.Minister Evan Solomon even know about technology?

Stand back, people... 🧵

The most popular news story on CBC.ca on this election day has a baffling grammatical riddle of a headline (as my colleague @jamesnicholson.bsky.social observes)...

Hard to tell where the Carney ads end and the Carney coverage begins...
April 28, 2025 at 4:02 PM
Mark Carney has been praised by the Canadian press as "calm" and "even-tempered."

That's not how he was known by the British press, and others over the years.

He was repeatedly described as "shouty" and abrupt, with a "volcanic temper". And there's more.. 🎧🎧🎧

Now here's how ForCanada has spent the money so far.

$169,500 was paid to The Rebel News Network for items including "Partisan Activity" and "Election Advertising." 11/x

Today Elections Canada released spending data for all Third Party campaigns.

Here is ForCanada's return.

www.elections.ca/fin/oth/thi/...

As you can see, it shows that 135 people donated a total of $247,077.35 to ForCanada.

And yes, the first donor was Ezra Levant, who gave $5000. 10/x
April 21, 2025 at 10:20 PM
Levant promised:

"I plan to use my 3rd party group to go further & harder than anything the Conservatives would do...(such as highlighting) Mark Carney's close family ties with Ghislaine Maxwell...Our billboard truck is literally in Ottawa today with that message." 4/x
April 21, 2025 at 10:20 PM
But Levant presented this as more than just insurance against more fines: it was an opportunity for his audience to help fight Carney in ways that Poilievre and the Conservatives could not.
