One of the problems with all this investment into AI is that all that money is not being invested in anything useful. It's just going into a bubble with only marginal increases of actual utility, while creating a myriad of issues for everyone else, like electricity cost and water table depletion

The thing about Trump sweeping Epstein's documents under the rug is he's directly covering up the sexual abuse of children. That is quite objectively evil. There is no non-evil way to support this

We can either spend some money and move away from carbon-intensive industry, or we can spend a whole lot more dealing with climate change's results like more floods, fires, and other extreme weather, not to mention all the additional deaths

Ice agents deserve every bit of hatred they receive. They deserve no peace. They deserve no respect. If they don't like it, they can quit and find a job that actually contributes to society.
