Don’t worry. Still plenty of time for ICE to convince the 64% of his Latino supporters who don’t yet regret their vote to change their minds.

In Halligan’s defense, this type of unethical behavior could be common among lawyers who defend insurance companies.

I can’t believe Trump just admitted that he, not
Biden, was President in 2020!

But since they are only investigating the Democrats implicated in the Epstein files, everything related to the Republicans in the files, including Trump, can be released.

I doubt Bondi will see it that way, but let’s see how judges respond to the FOIA requests that are bound to be coming.

Roberts at his core is the same as Thomas and Scalia.

He just doesn’t foam at the mouth and he likes to keep a veneer of plausible deniability.
November 19, 2025 at 3:33 PM
One good thing that Trump has accomplished is that he may finally have killed the ridiculous idea the government should be run like a business.
November 19, 2025 at 2:47 PM
No reason not to release any of the files related to Republicans since there is no investigation into them.
November 18, 2025 at 11:11 PM
To be fair to Trump, he always viewed ABC’s $16m bribe as a recurring payment.
November 18, 2025 at 7:35 PM
It must be so frustrating for MBS. He’s probably ordered the death of hundreds and people just won’t let go of this one pesky reporter.

While I’m sure foreign visitors to the World Cup appreciate an easier visa process, I suspect that what they really want is not getting Kavanaugh-kidnapped off the streets.

Maybe, but if he signs the bill, it’s a law and a law overrides a DoJ procedure.
November 17, 2025 at 10:01 PM
8 Senators: While we knew no one would read the bill before it was voted on, we did worry that some goody two-shoes might read it afterwards.
November 17, 2025 at 4:59 PM
More accurately — while there’s ‘Probable Cause’ and the ‘Preponderance of Evidence’ that Trump has committed crimes/wrongdoing, we haven’t quite reached ‘Beyond a Reasonable Doubt’ yet.
November 17, 2025 at 3:12 PM
Trump changing his public position on the vote probably means a supermajority vote in the House.

That puts pressure on the Senate to take up the bill, if they do it passes.

Can Trump veto at that point?

If he does he is back in coverup hell.

If he doesn’t, a law overrides DoJ procedures.

To be fair to Hassett, if Republicans had their way people would pay a lot less for healthcare

Because they wouldn’t have healthcare.

Of course you better not get sick.
November 16, 2025 at 5:03 PM
What is the over/under on how long this tariff rollbacks will last?

Trump loves them too much for this strategy to last very long.
November 15, 2025 at 1:42 PM
So what you’re saying is the non-release of the Epstein files is another example of Merrick Garland slow-walking justice.
November 14, 2025 at 6:16 PM
Trump is also laying the groundwork to not release the Epstein files by claiming there is an ongoing investigation.
November 14, 2025 at 4:39 PM
The reason why Trump and Republicans are so gung-ho about cutting SNAP (and Medicaid, etc.) is because starvation is a tools to get poor Americans to take the jobs left empty by the deportation of immigrants

Tim Kaine realizes his first explanation of his vote didn’t go over that well with voters so he giving it another go.

Looking forward to his third try at an explanation after this one falls flat.

Portland should sue Fox”News” for damages. Not sure it would go anywhere but it may put Fox on their heels for a bit.
November 12, 2025 at 9:18 PM
What does it say that Trump, who couldn’t be bothered to talk to Dems to end the longest shutdown on record, is now working his ass off begging Republicans to continue to hide the Epstein files?
November 12, 2025 at 7:01 PM
Just spit balling—but maybe the 8 members of the Senate Democratic Cave Caucus should have actually read the bill before they betrayed their party/country
November 12, 2025 at 2:11 PM
There’s an argument for this —just not one these 8 Senators gave.

1) Republicans control gov’t
2) They won’t chg until R voters feel pain
3) Many R voters are low info
4) By Jan ‘26 lower ACA subsidies are real
5) Snap off the table in fight for next CR
7) this is a war not one battle
