I attended at my first team tournament ever (and my third tournament in total) a few weeks ago. I saw it as a learning opportunity, I was by far the most unexperienced tournament fencer of all the participants but I found some new friends in this hall which I might see from time to time next year.

Yesterday I went bouldering with fellow students, for the first time since October of last year.
It was a lot of fun, and I definitely want to go more often again, but my body hates me for it now.
Maybe it wasn't the smartest idea to also go to the "Fit for Fencing" training on the same day xD

This weekend I will attend at the Dreynevent, my first international HEMA event. I hope that I will be able to do some fencing, even though my right knee started to hurt since this week. Anyway I'm sure that I will have a good time there :)

First my car urgently needs a bigger repair which costs about 1500€, then I found out that I am not allowed to apply for the "Selbsterhalter" scholarship and now my notebook is in for repair with the suspicion that the motherboard is broken.

Yesterday I had my first HEMA training since being sick for almost three weeks. And damn, I'm so happy that the last symptoms are barely noticeable anymore. A bit of coughing when doing harder exercises was everything that's left from being sick. So yay! :D

Day 7 of "being sicker than ever since moving to Graz":
It's getting better! I cough like crazy and it sounds incredibly gritty but I can finally do smaller things and PC tasks!
Working yesterday (as a cutter on site) was not the best idea but these are the things you have to do as a freelancer.

"How are your holidays so far?"
"Well, I'm lying in bed, cuddling dogs, eating cake and other delicious food while coughing my head off and blowing what feels like a kilo of snot out of my nose every day. So...could be worse I guess." ^^

20. 12.: "Yesss, today is the last day of work! Tomorrow I will have a great time in Vienna doing some Christmas fencing with lovely people and then having some PC free days on the countryside! 💙"

June 2024: "Oh! There is this Media Design master study in Graz where you can finally get your Master degree! And as a full-time freelancer you can easily manage your jobs while doing a full-time study and keep on doing sports 4-5x/week! Today is the last day to sign up for it, so yolo let's do it!"

It's so funny how the 15 year old Tsesi imagined their future self and how many of these expectations Present-Tsesi actually fulfills. Like, living in a big city, working as a freelance photographer and video producer, finally wearing oddly cool clothes or having a white shepherd by my side.

But I also have good things to tell. Thanks to all the Ko-fi supporters I was able to buy a new tripod, yay! 💙

Last morning I found out that I'm missing 4 video lights, 2 softboxes, 2 tripods (at least one of them is the damaged one) and my complete telescope background system. Until then I thought that I brought my stuff into the cellar after using it the last time, which was a month ago. Thanks ADHD brain🙃
