With a trip out to Greenport (via Babylon!) today, I've now ridden the entirety of the LIRR (Yes, including Belmont Park!)

Even if the line wasn't on the freeway, it would STILL be smart to have integrated bus loops to help bring coverage to the surrounding neighborhoods. This is textbook transit planning and you STILL don't get it. Even in Downtown Toronto the subway has bus loops for feeders, like here at Wellesley

Yeah they do. It's for radio (cell) comms, they're just smaller/you don't notice them as much on metros. See the little square cubes on the mast here, that's antennas for CBTC. They're all over the 7.
