I feel the opposite. It feels like Hollywood is desperate to convince me he's a leading man, and I'm just not seeing it at all.

I remember meeting a friend's grandma and somehow we got into talking about wrestling. Since this was Tampa, she mostly talked about how much she wished someone would kill Kevin Sullivan.

I've always felt like you could fix everything wrong with MJF by just cutting his promo time by about 40%. There's almost always good stuff there, but they give him so much time to fill he invariably drops some clunkers into the mix.

Same here. I'm an oldhead who started watching wrestling in the 70s. Chief Wahoo McDaniel was my hero growing up. I lost interest after ECW folded for good (I don't consider the WWE era to be anything), and just got back into it a few years ago. AEW is the best American wrestling I've ever seen.

The number of complaints I've seen about AEW that boil down to "they give us too much good stuff" is so baffling.

I think the stupid smile really ruined it. Cena losing, even Cena tapping, I can understand, but having him tap while essentially no-selling the sleeper just makes Gunther look weak. He has heat, sure, but he loses credibility.
Still wish it had been Carmelo.

In the boardgames subreddit people often post pictures of game components they're trying to identify, and in my experience Google's AI image search gets those wrong 100% of the time. It is uncanny.

For a long time I considered him my favorite writer, and still tank him pretty highly. He was a fantastic writer but a total knob of a person.
