Totally forgot to update on my Cosmere re-read progress. Finished Oathbringer a bit ago, then got through Dawnshard in a week and now I’m on Rhythm of War at about pg. 400. I doubt I’ll get through all of Mistborn Age 2 and Wind and Truth by the end of the year, but I’m going to try!

Bracket 1: Chromatic Lantern works really well in my candles/lights artwork deck.
B2: Lantern is AMAZING at smoothing my colors.
B3: Lantern’s not the best, but it helps and I have nostalgia.
B4: 3 mana rocks aren’t worth the slot.
B5: This deck usually wins before turn 3.

Think I might try out Suki in my Teshar deck to build up some blockers. Probably not as good as Desecrated Tomb, but together that's a decent chunk of what would be 2/1s on the ground and in the air.

Probably one of my most surprising favorite games this year has been Revolution Idle. I usually have some sort of idle game on my phone, but most require watching ads or have popups to buy stuff. RI is just “numbers go up” the game. Once I got to building macros I realized…I’m just playing Excel.

Right! 2011 Commander precon and it had a 2012 Judge promo that were both super sought after for Legacy.

For folks that weren’t playing in 2013, one of the Commander precons that year had True-Name Nemesis as a new card and the deck was impossible to find because people were buying them up to use the card in Legacy.

The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers is a cozy sci-fi instead of fantasy, but I absolutely loved the characters and setting.

TJ Klune’s The House In The Cerulean Sea has a wonderful group of misfit orphan magical children and a very strait laced main character who learns to loosen up a bit.

If you enjoyed Legends and Lattes, I have a couple other suggestions.
First is the prequel, Bookshops and Bonedust, and the upcoming sequel, Brigands and Breadknives. Prequel is about the MC of L&L, while Brigands will follow a character from Bookshops.

Nekusar got out Mindcrank early. Valgavoth played a Syr Konrad. I started to go off with Eruth out. I had Firebrand Archer out, so kept pining them, which made Mindcrank trigger, which made Konrad trigger, which made Mindcrank trigger, etc. It was a wild turn.

Had a chance to go out to play commander at the store for the first time in a while. The first game was wild. I was playing Eruth against Ultima, Nekusar, and a mostly stock Valgavoth precon.
