Just another silly Canadian.
Worth noting that if TM wants to do a Champion of Champion of Champions special, the show's already 4/5 for white male CoC winners (WIddecombe, Herring, O Briain, now Baynton).

We don't know each other, but my sincerest condolences. Mr. Ransone always struck me as a talent, as simply someone, who was never appreciated as he should have been. My sympathies.

On "good luck with that" -- just a glib reminder that not only would a constitutional revision require Commons and Senate approval, it'd also have to be approved by (at least) a supermajority of the provinces in both of their houses.

And that's an idealistic view. There's debate about all of that.

David Strathairn was excellent in Clooney's GN&GL. Maybe at his best.

Christopher Plummer was also terrific in The Insider, though about as much like Mike Wallace as Redford or Hoffman were Woodward or Bernstein. But, given the words, Plummer could do righteous indignation like few ever could.

Psst... that is not an editor's note. You'd think a once-revered journalistic institution like 60 Minutes would know what an editor's note is.

Haven't seen A MAN FOR ALL SEASONS in ages. Fictional simplification, etc., etc., Robert Bolt was a helluva writer, wasn't he?

/ and, personally, it was nice Scofield came in to play poet/critic Mark Van Doren in Redford's QUIZ SHOW: a movie role worthy of him again

And, of course, the MOCA is a very basic test, which is invariably administered in coordination with a series of other tests of cognitive and/or intellectual functioning. For most people, it's supplementary and more effective in identifying malingering or exaggeration.
