We ran 7 miles from Rumbley to Frenchtown and back again this morning and at no time were we more than 4 feet above sea level, per Strava. Encountered about 100 feet of flooded road. Houses carved into the Delmarva saltmarsh. Beautiful and foreboding.

Maryland’s newest state park is poised to arrive in the last county without one. It will be called Wetipquin Creek State Park. I paddled there a few years ago. Winding, surprisingly strong tidal current. The old house is breathtaking.

Finally back from Florida visiting family over the break. As you can see, I participated in the official state sport of alligator dodging.

Got a special tour of the Salisbury University campus with my sustainability class. The green roof on the library may not look very green right now, but it lives up to the name in other ways.
