What's disturbing and i hadn't realized is how much of the other percent just try to ignore the lie or pretend its theatre, until it's directly affecting them.

There's an old stat I cant find again for the life of me - you can convince 30%+ of a society's ppl to go along w/ ANYTHING stated by an authority figure (post WWII experiment? tested w/ obviously false math answers being told repeatedly were correct) Seems to repeatedly hold true in modern context.

Jk. Even Arstotzka had more consistent policies and rules to maintain even a sliver of a functioning economy.

Heck, at least 6 someones are getting an arm to help them up, instead of a boot to the ladder they're climbing.
