i think the weapon ap system is still the best. it makes grinding less obnoxious, you get more useage out of weapons. you can use so much variety. It's ATB system is a litle more kind.

HELL YEAH STILL RULES ALL THESE GUYS, GIRLS AND QUINA RULE. MUSIC RULES. BOSS FIGHTS FUN. CHALLENGE IN MAIN ACTUAL GAME FUN. DIdn't remember how little Necros is set up (even though there's some clear attempts at it, they never establish it properly.)

It's fine. Tidus is fine. Yuna is fine. The cast is fine. Auron is great. Seymour would be more fun if there was any like link between the Yevon plot and Seymour. Music still incredibly good. Postgame I started to do and went '... right this just sucks' and bailed.

FF8: 5/10

Jesus christ this game has a decent plot and it's mixed in with some obnoxious characters and storytelling manners, the junction system just feels incredibly bad and.. i'll be real, the music isn't tippy top either. If it wasn't for speedup, the travel sections would be brutal.
