I spoke to my wife about this. She's arranging a new conference in Zürich, and they were already considering incorporating the idea in some form. I guess one risk is that quiet/cautious people might have a hard time with the format. But I really like the idea!

So I ended up full-circle adding tsx back because this particular package builds with tsc (I need to emit). If you’re using a separate bundler it shouldn’t be an issue, here’s a useful article I found for migrating: javascript.plainenglish.io/native-types...
Native TypeScript in Node: A Practical Migration Playbook
If you’ve been using ts-node or tsx to run your TypeScript, it’s time to simplify.

I remember him talking about people telling him to monetize, and how he didn't want to just sell random stuff, which led to www.terminal.shop - he is/they are pretty good at picking projects I think

I would really look into getting a good test suite. I know this is not react-specific, but that will just make everything easier down the line. And then focus on e2e/integration. So if you work on simplifying state management you can do so up against the test suite to catch regressions.

This is embarrassing. It was very pretty, the pictures less so. I was on my bike and my feet nearly froze off.
