We now live in a time where the President publicly calls a Governor a "sleazebag" and demands that a convicted felon, who committed crimes on his behalf, is freed.

Trial by jury is only an Anglo Saxon system.
Are French, German, Dutch, Scandinavian Governments randomly imprisoning opponents because they don't have juries?

And I don't think you can argue that the judiciary in Scandinavian countries, Germany, France the Netherlands are necessary inferior.
