I went to get Gladys’s egg & sprinkled treats & no hens have ever been happier to be inside & I get it… 100%. Inside with snacks is the only way to spend a 20 degree day.

I finally broke down & brought the electric heater up … I put Finch’s bed/blankie in front of it - she is thrilled.
It’s 20 degrees out. Not counting the wind chill. Time for extra heat. A black & white cat lays on a round bed that’s covered with a knit rainbow blanket on the wood floor in front of the heater. The blanket is stripes of Blues, yellows, reds, oranges. A small wood dry sink is visible along the wall & a beautiful decor hen is placed beside it. A beautiful black & white cat in a circle bed with a knit blanket in front of it on a wood floor. An electric heater kicks out warmth. She looks at the camera as if to say thank you.

I took this at 10:30 last night when I went out to do my “before bed roof clear” because it had just started to fall & it did look pretty. ❄️

One of “heavy shit” things was this amazing paver that’s going to be gorgeous in front of the enclosure door if the ground ever thaws enough for me to dig it out.

I got these photos of Blanche & her one tail feather earlier. I can’t tell if that’s a new one and sprouted randomly or if that’s the last one to drop in her endless molt but time will tell & I told her she looks gorgeous.

Guys I finished my beautiful grandson, Bruce’s, blanket tonight & I’m so proud of it I even folded & wrapped it up & put a lil tag on it 🤭🤭🤭 I’ll give it to daughter on Saturday when she comes over. 🥰🥰🥰

I took the fuchsia down from the porch, used nest box pads to line it the planter bowl & put it in the corner of the enclosure with some cozy smelling herbs hoping maybe one of the girls (Blanche) will use it for a cozy bed. 🥹🤭 We’ll see! 🥰🤓😊
