I prefer solitude, peace, and a cool climate.
Indeed— When my grandmother made corndogs, there was no stick, and the frying of said corndog was in a cast iron skillet. 😁

I think the concept surely would qualify.

I do appreciate the rudimentary build of the item in this video.

Exactly! Fair food at its finest. (The skewer later serves as a toothpick) …or a gnawing stick, if you’re “an animal” 😬😁

Mental note— (to self) …research this later

Haha! 6-8 year olds can be weird.

But really— it is not any weirder than toothpick chewing.😁

I was also a bottle-fed baby circa 1969, so there’s that.

I used to get the little paper cup of ice cream at the school, which came with the little flat wooden “spoon” — which I would bite until it broke in half.

Similar to this Reddit discussion, www.reddit.com/r/nostalgia/...

only I am
old— so the ice cream was in a paper cup, rather than plastic. 😜

😁. I’ve eaten many corndogs, and other stick-in-it foods (popsicles, ice cream bars, etc.) — and have never had splinters from the brands I have consumed.

So much for my idea being original. I knew it was inspired by something!

I remembered the thing that had been stored in my gray matter that caused this “spaghetti with cinnamon toast” thought to form:

It is from a saved item on Pintrest, and is really just a joke. (Calm down, chef.)

😃😁.

I am a huge fan of Chef Ramsay.

This pin-post-meme inspires me to attempt Wellington on a stick. For less formal cocktail parties, or perhaps as a more classy fair food… no table, no fork, no knife.
