Working in a deeply red states, can confirm that students are *testing the waters* and they keep telling us that there is a process and not to worry but we can never get them to say they'd defend us publicly if a student went straight to the media like this

And also someone has to do a story on why some states refuse to make sure all their state-issued IDs are "Real ID" compliant after *checks notes* 20 years time to do so. Just the weirdest little fact about the US.

Real ID is either a federal law or it isnt. I kinda feel like the story is more, how our own gov refuses to implement laws that will negatively impact the travel industry.
