Then you can start adding more detailed project pages. Every time you do something significant, every time you finish a new side project, add a project page about it.

Every time you have something you want to say and put out for the world to see, write a blog post about it.

GitHub pages is an excellent way to get started with a personal website (and it's free!)

I personally really like the al-folio theme (that's what I use!)

Write an "About me" for the landing page. Add your CV. Add your socials. Point to some GitHub repos. Maybe an "intro to me" blog post. Done!

To add on to this advice, I'll say that one of the easiest ways to "tell people" is to have a website, where you put everything you want potential employers or colleagues to know about you. And then you can just point to things on your website instead of saying the same things over and over again!

And here is the accompanying blog post, which has been available since the day of the talk and is honestly my preferred medium for folks to consume this content:

Do you think part of what made using/talking about snomed ct hard was a lack of tooling around it? Or was it just the idea of an ontology/graphs when everyone is used to tabular data?

Verrrry interesting, thank you!

An ontology??

Oh this is super interesting, I’d love to learn more if you know of any resources!

This is very cool! It looks like it is just for clinical side, nothing about claims - but perhaps this can be extended to automatically validate claims on the payments side?

... that this data & these processes just beg for knowledge graphs and ontologies. I know KGs & ontologies are huge in biomed research so it's not a huge leap, but I'm getting the impression they are nowhere in this claims process. What am I missing?

I would love for someone else to try teaching my git/github speedrun workshop if teaching git is also on the agenda!
