#Caturday: Our former stray kitty Puck's socializing is going well! He now accepts pets and scritches (but only if he initiates), purrs softly, is lap-curious, curls up next to us on the couch. Now we just have to get him over his fear/antipathy toward Ariel & Caliban (who are blasé about him).

We named our little stray kitty (now being socialized indoors) Puck... Other two kitties are Ariel and Caliban and we decided to continue the Shakespeare theme.

Timeline cleanse: One week since his vet visit, Puck is adapting pretty darn well to the indoor life. We have a long way to go to socialize him and integrate with our other 2 cats, but he's worth the effort. Fingers crossed!

Puck update: Post Vet
Puck is a boy! And he was intact, so he's had his bits snipped, been microchipped, and is now sleeping it off in his swanky recovery area. :)
We'll be monitoring him the next few days, and deciding whether we want to try to integrate him fully into the household or nah.

At long last, we have trapped our little stray kitty, Puck, and brought her inside (we think it's a her, not sure). Remarkably calm about the whole thing. Doesn't know about pending vet visit. :)
