People who want to be MPs aren't all there to make life better for others. Prospective MPs should be interviewed and vetted by an impartial panel without affiliations to a political party. Farage's behaviour suggests at least a bad character and possibly also a personality disorder.

Make sure you inflation proof your savings. You will have a lot of years and possibly ill health to finance. Ageing takes its toll. Build your support network now. No easy choices are there.

Wow. I know several grandparents who offer a day or two a week to help. It often involves some travel as they dont live nearby. Tough when you have to go it alone. Good luck.
