I'm enjoying ST S5 so far, but I'm LOVING "Welcome to Derry" - they just really nailed it. The last two episodes have been nuts.

Three years in from losing my Dad. We were both always Stephen King fans and my wife and I have been watching (and loving) "Welcome to Derry" on HBO. End of the last episode, I say to her, "My Dad would love this, I should tell him to...ah dammit." 😑 Yeah, it seems to not fade away all that quickly.

Very confusing, I'm assuming the PS5 Pro uses some special mode the Base model doesn't use? It's 2025, how are devs still launching games like this on fixed performance consoles.... :|

I'm going to end up paying $1600 - $2000 a month on COBRA the next few months while looking for a new job because our government hasn't been able to get this resolved. I was expecting to pay $300-$500 at most. Our system isn't working and it's making our lives worse.

I wouldn't be opposed to Barry making it to the HoF, but I agree with Scott the erosion of truth should factor in, and there's a fitting karma to us as Giants fans being able to celebrate Barry and his accomplishments, but "baseball" as an entity saying, "Nope, not like that." I think that's fair.

Even with all that in play...I'll still take Netflix over the Ellisons owning it. In a rational society, the merger wouldn't be allowed, Disney would be forced to choose to be a content creator or distributor, not both, and public media would get more funding than any of them. 2025 sucks.

I know it'll be hard to ignore, but I'm just going to watch it and enjoy it for what it is and scroll past any of the noise. More Trek is good Trek, and I like it in every flavor.
