I was talking to @kevinkipp.com today and he introduced me to this super interesting library:

For large, complex backends there are a lot of potential benefits but it does require some fundamental changes to the way you code with TypeScript.
Effect – The best way to build robust apps in TypeScript
Effect is a powerful TypeScript library designed to help developers easily create complex, synchronous, and asynchronous programs.

Thrilled to share my new role as the tech lead across frameworks at Google! My initial focus is boosting productivity with AI.

While this means I'll be less hands-on with Angular with fewer public appearances, I'll be supporting the team and the rest of Google more than ever 🚀

I used clz.com to catalog the hundreds of comic books I bought as a kid in the 90s (a lot of @imagecomics.com).

They are fun to read through again, but I eventually want to offload them.

Alright, so this is pretty cool.

Copy and paste this Web Speech API example code into your Chrome browser dev tools console.

It should immediately start live streaming transcription from your microphone.

No calls to external services.

Super excited that my jeff.app demo app now works for 3 types of Speech Recognition running in the browser (i.e. no server side calls):

1. Transformers.js (using Whisper model from @hf.co)

2. Chrome Built-in AI

3. Web Speech API

I had a lot of fun recording this with my good friend, Vinayak, who knows more about recruiting tech than almost anyone out there. If you are trying to hire people or you are trying to get hired, you need to watch this.

Is Google about to destroy the web?
Google says adding more AI to its search engine will rejuvenate the internet. Others predict an apocalypse for websites. One thing is clear: this era of online history is closing.

Not fully working yet, but it's been fun to play around with it. Also fun to temporarily use one of the domains I've had sitting around for awhile.

I think this will be Maresca's starting 11 vs Betis:

- Colwill captain
- Reward George and KDH for work in Conf League all season
- Enzo, Guiu, Acheampong, Badiashile, Madueke off the bench
- James gets rest unless needed after 90 on Sunday (no need to pick up injury before the offseason)
