The US was flying 80 immigrants in 2 C17 transports to Guatemala when the Mexican government intervened. Each plane costs ~ $24,000 an hour to operate. Add 6 to 8 hours of flight time; other mission costs; and ICE costs to arrest/house/transport...this isn't going to scale well into the millions.
