Who's cited most across borders?

🇺🇸 The U.S. leads gov-to-gov refs by a wide margin. 🇬🇧, 🇩🇪, 🇨🇦, 🇦🇺 follow. Also, 30 countries—mostly Least Developed—were never cited.

📚 Same for academic refs: 17 of top 20 gov-cited countries also top in academia.

🤯 43% of scholarly works include a U.S.-based author.

🗺️ The figure below shows decades of global data use. That’s what’s at risk if we don’t act.

Looks awesome, Daniela. Congrats! Hopefully your findings on public opinion foreshadow changes in actual housework division in the decades to come. I'm optimistic! (At least I am when I ignore the world's existential threats...)

If I get around to this, I will share...but I desperately need a short and sweet video showing how to open finder on a mac, create a new folder and name it the title of the class. Then how to download a file from Canvas and move it from the downloads folder to the new class folder they created.

Very useful visualization. Thanks for making this! By chance is it posted on your website or another location online? I would like to use it in my course on Global Inequality (we currently read your team's World Inequality Report 2022!).
