Many years ago, I took French classes in France. The students were from all over the world. It was a great way to meet people. Also, a big advantage was that we were more likely to speak French with each other because we were all at a similar skill level and not everyone spoke English.

For your second point, there is a huge difference between over optimization and having a few different packages to meet the needs and budgets of different customers. I think you can run a great customer focused company without either of your two points.

I've raised prices several times without any customer complaints. You want to provide great value for your price but there is no point in underpricing just for the sake of doing it (not saying that you are but others reading this might). Reminds me of this: longform.asmartbear.com/willingness-...
