Short-form keeps eyes on the screen and can insert frequent ads while scrolling. Long-form can insert longer ad breaks. Short-mid length has fewer ads without the guarantee that you stay engaged for longer.

Khachapuri is other-worldly. If you get the chance to go to Georgia (🇬🇪), go for the food alone.

My only pushback to this is that bus access should remain too. Routes like the 40 would be so much slower and with worse access if they had to get on and off the Aurora bridge from the local streets around there.

This is exactly how it works in Paris! Loved that idea visiting over the summer. There are many large on-street parking corrals that the Lime app requires you to end the ride in. It’s geo-locked, so ending a ride outside of those is impossible. It’s a nice solution!

If I’d taken this photo a couple seconds sooner, you’d have seen someone illegally turning left into the driveway by first crossing into the oncoming traffic lanes to bypass the hardened yellow center line.

As a 4 year CS degree haver who is engaged to an architect, I’m not so sure I’d agree that I have a bigger impact on people’s lives 😂 I’m glad that professions like hers require safeguards. I wish mine had more, honestly.

How are you arriving at that figure? According to @kromandavid.bsky.social earlier today there were “about 6000” votes left, and today’s drop was around 5800.

I’ve been saying for years that the first Seattle-area ski resort to run regular, reasonably-priced buses directly to/from a central Seattle point will get my annual pass dollars. Until then, none of them will.

Metro doing so would be a great option as well.

You just have to go to the elections results PDF URL (page 35) an refresh incessantly. Friday’s drop came at 3:32pm.
