I had heard of Lipari but had no idea where it was. Looks amazing. I think time stands still over there. Of course it helps that you’re not working. But I love the long meals and slower pace of living.

Will certainly be going back in the future. Lots to see. Love the culture.

Fellow Italian here. This mirrors my family’s journey from Sicily to the US in the early 1900’s. Our family fruit distribution business is still in operation. Was just in Messina last month; couldn’t believe that you can see the mainland because the strait is so narrow. Beautiful there.
