Remember when he threatened ridiculous tariffs on Brazil if they pursued charges against Bolsonaro who abetted an insurrection. Well guess who's sitting in prison in Brazil. I'm going to really tired of hearing about corruption in places like Ukraine when we are riddled with it here.

When Trump pardons liars criminals and cheats who definitely don't deserve it, he just creates a debt that he will collect by asking them to lie and cheat for him. At some point when he needs to throw them under the bus, he will & they will have few resources or allies to fight back.

What is wrong w the Belgian leadership? There is no reason a 2nd agreemt (like Budapest memo) is going to be respected by Ru as aggressor nor the West signatories as defenders of Ukr. Both sides abrogated before. Since West is too cowardly to confront Ru directly, give Ukr Ru $ to save itself.

I totally agree w this perspective as an American. We had a good run being the backbone of the Free World but we've backslid bc of ignorance, econ stagnation & inflation, aggravated by algorithms/bad actors on social media, & the #GOP which has become progressively disinterested in good policy.

Get it together Europe! The US is not a reliable partner for at least 2.5 more yrs. You got to realize that there is no backup plan. From 1945 to 2024 (I'm being generous), the US was the backbone of the free world. The corrupt isolationists are in charge now. You don't have time to fuss about.
