Musk campaigning for Trump and donating millions to help him win was my last straw, and everything that happened with DOGE only cemented it

I’ve recently received suggestions to change certain words to British spelling (I live and work in Illinois)

Grok is going to be used in schools. If Grok is not ready, if Grok is going to share misinformation, that’s a Grok problem, that’s a Musk problem. The source of the claim doesn’t matter if Grok is repeating it. Grok shouldn’t share false information

Why does it matter to you? Are you saying Musk is not responsible for his product?
December 14, 2025 at 9:01 PM
Doesn’t matter to me. Elon is responsible for what Grok says

Go to a valid news site, get some encyclopedias. Wikipedia has editors who care about the quality of information; social media and AI do not, they have no responsibility to the truth

The first screenshot is from Grok. Musk owns Grok and is responsible for Grok’s output

Stuff like this should be disqualifying for any serious use of LLM AI. If information is manipulable by an LLM owner or its inputs then they’re no good

Could be a tricky line to walk because some universities will want students to have AI skills on their resumes

I remember an article from early on that profiled those who had already died, and it was a cross-section of people, different ages, different occupations. Also the headline when the U.S. reached 1 million deaths. I think some didn’t care about that, only how they were inconvenienced.

This was the first election I could vote in. I remember feeling dumbstruck that GWB wasn’t an immediate loser, then watched as the country went to war twice, embraced “compassionate conservatism,” made all the wrong moves, re-elected him, then tanked the economy as a final kicker

I wonder if anyone’s going to go easy on him because he’s an “old man” like you might at a neighborhood pickup game

A lot of sports journalists are nerds that didn’t make the team

I think there will always be people who see AI as inferior or untrustworthy, it's just a matter of finding them, or them finding you

I'm not a fan of HCR, but Tom and the article author seem to be in competition to see who is the bigger idiot. Misrepresenting post-9/11 America? Taking the Twitter Files as legitimate? Writing an article using only one source? Seeing Trump as the lesser of two evils? I just

I thought the Cratchits were poor enough that they couldn't afford lifesaving medical care for Tiny Tim unless Scrooge personally intervened. Is the implication that the Victorian urban middle class couldn't afford medical care?

I think that even if science is automated, we will always need humans to verify the output and implement recommendations based on the results. We can't just blindly act because the computer told us to
