Putin has to take Ukraine to win. Zelenskyy only has to not lose Ukraine to win. Taking the Russian terms of surrender, via his ally Trump, would be a disaster for Ukraine, for Europe and even Taiwan. It will not happen.

Trump wants AI companies to manufacture their own energy? And we can assume those plants would be largely controlled by AI. And since energy is what AI lives off energy, what happens when humans must beg for their share?

BAD news: Trump is acting with reckless abandon on every front. GOOD news: is when people act with reckless abandon, they end up crashing. HOWEVER, people crashing often hurt more than themselves, and a president's crash could be America's crash which would be MORE BAD news.

A Federal grand jury is going to be extremely deferential to the prosecutor when it comes to classified information. It's almost a lock that they will indict John Bolton no matter the circumstances, which are always fairly complicated in these circumstances. 🤷♂️

Two things can be true at the same time. The murder of Charlie Kirk was a villainous, horrendous act. Trump & Miller are racists and would-be fascists. And, BTW, as far we know now, there was no "they" who murdered Kirk. It appears to be one guy, raised by Republicans.

One shot kill, rifle from the rooftop, so far a clean getaway, certainly seems like a professional assassination. The assumption is a political motive, but we don't know that yet. The more professional, the less clear the motive.

There is no peace agreement and there isn't going to be any peace agreement in Ukraine for a long time, if ever. The parties don't agree on anything, not on ceasefire, not on territory, not on future security, not even on having leader meetings. NOTHING

Trump did not make the compliance with NATO's 5% of GDP, Putin did. But Trump's shirking from being the leader of the Free World did assist him. Trump continues to push NATO into being Eurocentric. The "coalition of the willing" as a subset is moving much closer to troops in Ukraine.

There's no difference between an Article 5 type guarantee and Ukraine in NATO. Trump won't get agreement on either from Putin, so they might as well just agree to accept Ukraine into NATO with the condition that Article 5 only applies to territory not yet taken. And eff Putin.

It's Trump who thinks states are leaders one on one. Has to have been Putin's plan. In the air, when Trump could not decide who he's bringing, but Putin has all along. Putin wouldn't let Kellogg go. He set the stage exactly as he wants to try to overwhelm Trump.
