It's sad how much car crashes impacting everyone else has been normalized in society, but one delay in a public transport timetable is treated like it's the end of the world.

Don't forget his cousin, General Mills Malone.

Yep, and Bluesky seems to be a magnet for people like that. Eternally miserable and determined to make everyone else feel the same way.

Whoosh.

That's a common way of thinking among many people. Publicly atheists, but ready to claim certain religious beliefs when they think it's to their advantage.

It's one of the standout songs on More Of The Monkees. I think it beautifully captures the feeling of new love without being overly sentimental or mushy.

True enough. But this is Bluesky, where too many users figure if they use all caps on certain words it shows their argument is not refutable.

Good question. How about we ask the reporters directly?

That said, the paranoia over AI has been overdone, especially on social media, so that people adopt an "everything I don't like is AI" attitude to every post and video. Whether that's warranted or not, in a lot of cases like yours it isn't.

I get that on a few Japanese channels I watch partly as a way to learn the nuances of the language. They automatically put on an AI voice with no inflection in tone at all, and I have to manually change it back to the original Japanese.

You can replace Netanyahu with Putin and it still exactly applies.

Good rundown of what this means for Montreal, but I can't figure out the guy in the YouTube comments that attacked you and Reese for not loving diesel trains as a solution or for the crime of - gasp - high production quality on the video.

In other words, just win and Scotland qualifies. Whether they can avoid slipping on the collective banana peel is another matter.

Of course. It's a classic example of rage bait, the type too many Bluesky users are gullible enough to fall for. Never realizing for a second they're just feeding the very monsters they hate.

This feels like pandering to the Eurosnobs who constantly attack US soccer leagues in general for not doing a fall to spring schedule like European leagues do. Even though there are plenty of Euro leagues in the north that do a summer schedule.

Damn, that's going way back.

Personally, I was more of a Quisp fan myself

They're taking advantage of the "everything I don't like is AI" mind hive prevalent here and on other social media for quick clicks.

I checked. Since Norm Rice in the first half of the 90's, the only Seattle mayor to make it to a second term is Greg Nickels, not exactly anyone's idea of progressive and hated for much of his term.

True enough, I just wish China's own politics weren't so problematic so it would be easier to side with them.

That's a sign she made up the story for the sole purpose of rage bait. I've never heard of her until now, but from the comments here she has a history of doing this on X/Twitter.
