I used to be that way. Then I opened a deck of playing cards that I've used countless times and thought, I will never play one board game half the number of times as a deck of cards and these are in good shape. Saved a lot of money to buy more games.

Agreed. Quantity over quality it seems. Shotgun approach, maybe one will be a hit. At least on Steam there are cheap indie games and no shelves needed. Or shipping fees.
