It would be cool for there to be some slight slowdown the moment before you’re killed by a ghost so you have a chance to react. Most of my deaths happened before I could realize I even made impact.
And a wild twist idea: add a jump/hop button. Maybe a double tap in a direction to trigger it?

I tried and failed to reach level 50 but just wanted to say this rocks. Clean, simple, well designed and fun. 👍

There’s also no disclosure on steam stating that AI was used in its production which may be a violation of steams terms of service if this is the case. Interested to see the future of this remake given all this in addition to the steam reviews being “mostly negative”.

Unfortunately this is screaming “we cut costs and used AI” which is especially dreadful given the strike was just fully resolved in July. I have no proof of this and I hate to jump to that theory but something about this remake feels off, not just in the presentation/gameplay.
