She’s a piece of work, and I don’t mean that in a good way.

My family visited the terraces when I was 5 (that would be many decades ago!) but I remember the terraces spilling over with hot water, sulfuric fumes so thick we could barely see each other standing on the boardwalk. Went again in ‘22, and the difference was shocking!

I personally love writing with a fountain pen. They are great for drawing too!

My dad worked on Voyager; so proud of him! Just a weird FYI; while going through his stuff after he passed, I found a big old 3-ring binder containing the complete electrical schematics for Voyager. We could build another Voyager 😆 I intend to donate it to the Air and Space Museum in Balboa Park.

I listed the Mad Scientists Club too! Loved it! And my brother made me read all 44 of his Tom Swift books. My Dad had read the Tom Swift Sr books; I guess it was a family tradition!😆

So many, but “Misty of Chincoteague,” “Mystery of the Haunted Mine,” “Moon of Three Rings,” “Bambi,” the Black Stallion Books, “The Mad Scientist’s Club,” and “Men, Martians, and Machines”

I’d say, start with Goldfinger ( I did) then go back and watch Dr No and From Russia With Love. I still love On Her Majesty’s Secret Service: perhaps the closest to the book. For years after filming, the restaurant used as hideout Piz Gloria, kept Blofeld’s ‘coat of arms’ on the tram station wall.
