Screenshot from Ellipsus A quote from my story 1000: Time Paradox I opened the app and it had a little blinky screen that said “Welcome to Your World Line!” Before I could do anything I had to type in my D.O.B, authorise location services via the GPS and confirm the current year. I punched it all in and waited for the next screen. It had a drop-down box to select the year to travel to so I flicked it down and had a look. The dates only went beyond 2011. I guess it’s easier to go forward than back? I flicked through and randomly selected 2141. A hundred and thirty years is as good as any, right? The alcohol (and the emotional exhaustion) was really starting to set in and the screen was getting fuzzy. The last button on the screen said TRAVEL? I ran my finger over it, shoved my phone in my pocket and passed out.

Right? As an Aussie, I like seeing my country repped well. Not enough sci-fi stories are set here.

And Idiot plot is such an incredible and not often used well storytelling genre. It's my favourite kind to write though

Just the brain power to write. I'm doing ok, I can get out about 1.2k in 50 minutes or so, but finding that 50 minutes is the hardest part.

Next year I'm gonna chuck up characters from my sketch books that have sat around and done nothing for like 20 years as adopts on my ko-fi.

I'll do ref sheets for them and batch them throughout the year but yeah. Might as well get them out in the wild. There's some cool designs in there.
