In 1947 my mom's family lived at 7 Minnesota Ave. in Cubao, Quezon City, #Manila, not long after @80% of the city had been destroyed in WWII. I found a contemporary Google maps photo of the corner lot. A ragged tarp was strung around the "garden" wall like a trapped ghost. #art #watercolor #ink

Last night’s bedtime #art (while listening to Harrison Divecha). #Inkdrawing first in black & white; color added later. Working towards a looser line, grasping the pen higher on the barrel. Not just about art process tho; trying to be more flexible about how I hold emotions and thoughts . . .
