Agree, I can already see a difference in FX in recent games… not the same jump, skating a little less explosive. All signs of lack of confidence due to limited ice time.

I feel it’s about mutual respect, young guys also look at treatment players are getting from their organization… today was horrible, same for Evans, Anderson… one to forget!

Oh, I think he’s run out of runway.. he did get chances, he’s had more than many, more than deserved actually! This latest demotion is the ultimate, they had to sign an outsider for depth, Roy was right there!

Ice time is the key factor. Matheson, aside from physical abilities, is a very smart player. Overplaying him did not help in the past. I like what I see this year.

Yep, that’s the thing, can’t have too many offensive minded Ds who are not typically physical (sound defensively though).
It’s a fine balance to attain. Guhle’s situation unfortunately worries me. Love the player… when he plays!

I love Engström, definitely emulating Matheson’s game, already.
Some may say it’s a good problem to have but I think Habs may have to move someone and not necessarily 72/47 bc you need toughness at least on the third pair… especially come playoff time!
